There were family flowers only and donations were accepted on behalf of Marie Curie.

Arrangemen­ts were by WC Matthews and Son Ltd, Sennen.

Charles Methodist Church followed by committal at Penmount Crematoriu­m, Truro, on Friday, April 12. Reverend Paul Benney officiated.

Family mourners: wife Diana; daughters Julia, Hayley and Laura; sons-in-law Aykut, Julian and William; grandchild­ren Tom, Rosie, Wildfred and Ralph; sister June; brothers and sister-in-law Graham, Robert and Roselyne.

The family wishes to thank Dr Smith, St Austell Health Group, and the Marie Curie Nurses.

Funeral arrangemen­ts were by Personal Choice Funerals.

ST COLUMB MAJOR

Many friends gathered with family members in The Trelawney Chapel, Penmount, for the funeral and service of thanksgivi­ng for the life of Kathleen, known as Kay (widow of Geoff).

Kay died peacefully on the March 6, aged 92, at St Margarets Nursing Home, Fraddon.

Family mourners were: Michael and Anne, David and Kay, Hilary and Geoff; grandchild­ren Joanne and Chris, Steven and Jess, Jamie, Sam, Steph and Shaun, Becky and Jake; sister-in-law Jill Williams; nephews and nieces.

Also in attendance were staff representi­ng St Margarets Nursing Home, Fraddon.

Kay was very much loved and will be sadly missed by all her family and friends including her great-grandchild­ren Ellie, Oscar, Hattie and Connie.

The licensed lay minister Phil Tremain took the service.

Arrangemen­ts were by Colin Rescorla Funeral Director.
