Christ­mas in a pasty

If Christ­mas din­ner feels just a bit too much ef­fort this year – or you can’t wait to get stuck in – War­rens Bak­ery has come up with the per­fect so­lu­tion. The three bird pasty fea­tures turkey, chicken and duck com­bined with cran­berry and apri­cot stuff­ing topped with a sage crumb.

For the sweeter-toothed, there is also the Christ­mas Pud­ding Pasty: rough puff pas­try filled with a Christ­mas pud­ding fill­ing in­clud­ing ap­ples, sul­tanas, cur­rants and tra­di­tional mixed peel all soaked in brandy. The fin­ish­ing touch is a pretty pink sugar top­ping.
