CHARITIES POP UP FOR CHRISTMAS
Cards for Good Causes will be opening pop-up shops in Falmouth, Launceston, St Ives and Truro this month. Run by teams of local volunteers, the pop-up shops in Cornwall are part of a network of more than 300 shops run by Cards for Good Causes. They raise funds for more than 250 charities including Cancer Research UK, Barnardo’s, NSPCC, Alzheimer’s Society and RNLI, as well as a number of local charities including Cornwall Hospice Care and Cats Protection Cornwall Adoption Centre.
Shoppers will be able to choose from hundreds of different Christmas card designs. Also available is a range of festive gifts, decorations, wrapping, stocking fillers and tasty treats. ‘Buying charity Christmas cards is one of the simplest ways to support good causes this festive season and we stock one of the widest ranges of Christmas cards anywhere,’ says Frances Guy, from Cards for Good Causes.
‘The proceeds from every card or product sold make a vital contribution to the work of the charities that we partner.’
In the past ten years, charities have received more than £40 million from Cards for Good Cause. Now that is a Happy Christmas.
