Everyone loves having a full fridge at Christmas, but resist buying the most expensive food items. More often than not, supermarkets’ own basic ranges will be sufficient, and they come with a much smaller price tag than the branded equivalent. It is a good idea to start stocking up on festive food early to stop one huge supermarket bill in December, and this also prevents you from making numerous, unnecessary shopping trips.
If you’re struggling to stay on top of your finances this Christmas, the National Debtline, an advice charity, are there to help. Visit their website at nationaldebtline.org
