RAINDROP CAKES

OK, so it may look like someone’s popped a breast implant on your plate, but this clear, wobbly-tothe-touch cake – which isn’t actually a cake at all (sad face) is going to be the talk of summer. Served with ground peanuts and soy-sauce syrup, the idea is to slip it into your mouth, where, upon impact, it melts into what feels like water. Oh, and did we mention it’s completely calorie-free? So it’s basically like drinking a glass of H2O (right?). Made for Instagram – and presumably denture-wearers – raindrop cakes will be to #summer2017 what bubble tea was to #summer2016.
