INGE HAS ISSUES… but it’s nothing a little magic can’t help

Make-up brands are falling over each other to dazzle us with innovation and textures we never knew we needed. Some of it is style over rehashed substance, but there’s also stuff that solves our problems and blows our little minds. Such as? It’s a trick achieved with ‘ghost pearls,’ which give the melty long-wear texture a wet-look effect. A gloss that stays put for 16 hours? Miraculous! Eyes? OK, so this doesn’t actually come away in one satisfying little strip, but Too Faced’s peel-off glitter liner can be picked off in flimsy bits. The upshot is that its film-forming agent really does lock down the glitter, so for once you can trust it won’t end up all over your face – or anyone else’s.
