What has she done? The London Fire Brigade’s Deputy Assistant Commissioner has developed new firefighting techniques, thanks to her background in psychology and as a fire officer. Twice shortlisted for ‘most influential woman in fire,’ she combines research with operational duties, which included a role in the heroic response to the Westminster Bridge terror attack and the aftermath of the Grenfell fire. Look out for Safer, more efficient firefighting thanks to a study in which she mounted GoPros on fire officers’ helmets to gain insight into their decision-making strategies.
