MY CULTURED LIFE

Milla Jovovich likes Toblerone and chicken tikka masala. But not at the same time. Obviously

-

First thing you read in the morning? Apple News on my iPad.

Favourite emoji? The cry-laugh.

Last TV binge session? The new Silicon Valley, and right now I’m watching the Leah Remini: Scientology And The Aftermath documentary. [It’s] pretty insane.

Last thing you do before bed? My family and I share a bed – including the dogs – so I read bedtime stories in Russian and English. Then I read scripts, books or the news – although [the news] is usually depressing.

Last film that made you cry? The short film they show before Incredibles 2, called Bao. You can always count on Pixar to squeeze those tears out.

Song that gets you dancing? Wild Thoughts by DJ Khaled, featuring Rihanna. It’s such an old track, but every time I hear it it’s like, “Mom’s dancing!”

Last thing you bought? Tabloid magazines and a Toblerone at the airport, for me and my daughter.

Books on your bedside table?

Anthony Bourdain’s Kitchen Confidential: Adventures In The Culinary Underbelly.

Ever been starstruck?

One of my favourite bands is called Parcels, and I got to see them live in Cannes. I was in heaven. They’re the most talented boys.

App you can’t live without? Body By Simone. I travel with it and it’s great because you can just do all of your exercising [via it].

Go-to takeaway dish? Indian, every time. My favourite is chicken tikka masala.

Last Instagram follow? A singing coach I just found for my daughter. He’s called Luke Metzler, and he’s fabulous.

Wallpaper on your phone? My kids.

Last podcast you listened to? I don’t really listen to them – I’m very visual.

What’s on your workout playlist? I love NoMBe [left], a band called Tora and a guy called Roosevelt.

What does your scent say about you? I want to be soft, sexy and strong, without being too overpowering, and my perfume encompasses all of those things. [Milla is the face of Joop! Wow! Woman EDT (40ml), £35.]
