SLEEVE IT OUT

Your shirt sleeves have been all lonely and hidden away inside your coat for sooo long. Do as the fash pack do then and set them free by pulling them through your longest outer layer. Tricky? Ruche up the outer layer and secure with a thin rubber band in your elbow crease (secret stylists’ trick). Harriet Stewart, stylist: A diaphanous white cotton sleeve is my favourite to give that frilly whimsical look. I like to contrast it with denim or something casual.

Play with proportions. Extra-long sleeves + extra-short sleeves = tick.
