Too tired to tan?

Is a Caribbean glow really worth all the extra effort? Cue the laziest bronzing tips ever…

Newsflash! Tanning doesn’t have to be a long-winded process. Just shave or wax at least 24 hours prior to application, then exfoliate with a dry brush in the shower on the day. “This removes dead skin cells without leaving a tan-disrupting film on the skin like some oil-based scrubs can,” says tan guru Jules Von Hep. If your tanning technique is slapdash to say the least, opt for a mousse with guide colour, so any missed bits show up straight away. A mitt gives a foolproof, even tan at speed. “Finish by sweeping a fluffy, dry flannel over your entire body to smooth over any mishaps in seconds,” adds Von Hep.
