JAWBONE
Founded in 1999 by Hosain Rahman (top) and Alexander Asseily, Jawbone produced wireless speaker fitness trackers. Despite receiving around $900 million investment, it was liquidated in 2017.
ZENEFITS
The HR software firm, founded by Parker Conrad, faced accusations over misleading claims given to investors. They laid off 45% of staff, and owed around $3.4 million in unpaid overtime.
FYRE FESTIVAL
Founded in 2015 by Billy McFarland, the new Bahamas music festival gained celebrity hype, but was cancelled, with McFarland pleading guilty to defrauding investors of $27.4 million.
