MY CULTURED LIFE
Pizza and feeling zen are very important to Lea Michele. Same, to be honest
First thing you read in the morning? Emails on my cellphone.
Most recent TV binge session? I watch every single thing on TV, but I’m loving Maniac, GLOW and The Handmaid’s Tale.
Last thing you bought? Magnesium bath salts. They help you relax before bed. It’s my favourite cheap beauty hack.
Favourite emoji? The kiss lips, with the one little red heart.
Last film that made you cry? Captain Fantastic. At the end they sing Sweet Child O’Mine, and it’s so beautiful.
Book on your bedside table? Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan. The first page in the book is a big family tree, and I got a little overwhelmed!
Last Google search? “Lea Michele and [former Glee co-star] Darren Criss” to find a good Throwback Thursday photo [they’re on tour together]. Ever been starstruck? I saw Lady Gaga at the Los Angeles premiere of A Star Is Born and froze. She’s such a force.
App you can’t live without? The meditation app Calm.
Song that gets you dancing? Crazy In Love by Beyoncé and Jay Z.
Last podcast you listened to? Goop’s. The most recent one I listened to was the anniversary episode where they interviewed Gwyneth Paltrow, but usually she interviews other people. So interesting.
What’s on your workout playlist? Ariana Grande’s No Tears Left To Cry. And anything by Rihanna.
Last person you followed on Instagram? I’m getting married and I’ve been following all of these bridal accounts to get inspiration.
And unfollowed? I’m quite afraid to unfollow people. I make the commitment and stick with it.
Go-to takeaway dish? Margherita pizza. You can’t go wrong with that.
Current wallpaper on your phone? A photo of me and my fiancé [Zandy Reich] on a beach. We’re looking out at the water.
Last thing you do before bed? There are about 30 things, but the last thing I do is make some camomile or lavender tea.
