Earrings that look like sculptures require hair with attitude

This look is all angles and ridges, set off with a single sharp-edged earring. “I prepped the hair just as I did for the supermodel curls, then made a deep side parting and held the lengths in place with crocodile clips along the hairline,” says O’Rourke. “For the knotted ridge, pick up a small section of hair above the ear and twist it back on itself until it loops, then pin the loop against the scalp. Add the rest of the section to the next one and repeat until you have four knots snaking towards the back of the neck. Remove the clips, brush out the curls and finish with hairspray [8].”
