MY CULTURED LIFE Elisabeth Moss: A-list actress and able to rap the whole of Jay Z’s I Just Wanna Love U (Give It 2 Me). Is there no end to her talents?

Actor Elisabeth Moss shares what’s keeping her entertained this month

-

First thing you read in the morning? Emails. Boring but true! Or I go to one of my favourite stores online, Monrow, and fill up a shopping cart I never buy because I get distracted.

What book is on your bedside table waiting to be read? The Little Red Chairs by Edna O’Brien.

What TV shows do you binge on? Jeopardy! on Netflix. I feel like I’m getting smarter by watching it. It’s also fun to see how not smart I am.

Last thing you bought? Sweaters for my team that say “Praise be. Under his eye. F*ck that”. I’m not afraid to wear merchandise for my own show [The Handmaid’s Tale] to work!

Favourite emoji? Probably the red heart… but that’s only for one person…

Last podcast you listened to? Oprah’s SuperSoul Conversations – I will listen to anything she has to say. Last film that made you cry? The Greatest Showman. I’m such a sucker for musicals.

App you can’t live without? I love Snapseed for photos. It has cool filters, but doesn’t make photos look fake.

Last time you were starstruck? Meeting the composer Max Richter, who’s probably my favourite artist in the world. I was tongue-tied and cried after.

Song that gets you dancing? I Just Wanna Love U (Give It 2 Me) by Jay-Z. I know all the lyrics.

Go-to takeaway dish? Margherita pizza from anywhere – I’m not a snob about pizza.

What’s on your workout playlist? When I have the time and energy to work out, I’ll be sure to make a playlist! I have one for work and it’s all film and TV composers, like Max Richter and Hans Zimmer.

Last thing you do before bed? I text my mom goodnight and check my alarm. I also need it to be cold in the room and warm under the covers.

Last person you followed on Instagram? My brother’s improv group, Whimsical Hotel. They are very funny.

What was your last Google search? A trailer for Can You Ever Forgive Me? with Melissa McCarthy. I’m in love with her after working with her on The Kitchen.
