It’s like digging into a bag of pick ’n’ mix to find the fizzy cola bottle you wanted. You could just tip the bag out and isolate the sweet you fancied but it’s more fun to refuse lots and then choose the one you want. We get an unexpected hit when the end result was worth the searching.”
