What?

A beautiful 14-bedroom Georgian manor house 30 minutes from the Cotswolds, available for private hire.

We love it because…

Well, it’s got a lot to offer and we don’t mean a few extra towels. There are marble pillars, 200-acre grounds, a sweeping staircase, gym, hot tub, bar and it even has its own movie room with velvet sofas and a huge screen, so you and your mates can hold a film evening (we vote The Holiday in winter and The Talented Mr Ripley in summer). Friendly staff can arrange whatever your gang’s keen to try, like a hot toddy, massage or a flower-arranging course. The catering here’s a treat too – local produce is transformed into Full English breakfasts in the country-style kitchen and delicious fivecourse suppers are created by Michelin-star-trained chef Anthony Robinson in the main dining hall. There are even homemade flapjacks to take with you when you hit the road.

Don’t leave without…

Grabbing a pair of Hunter wellies for a walk around the Manor’s grounds, or get in touch with Honesberie Shooting School for some clay-pigeon lessons on-site. And visit nearby luxury outlet Bicester Village for half-price Mulberry bags.
