At the start of this year, we wanted to change the narrative around health, wellbeing and self-care with our groundbreaking February cover. The idea was to remind everyone that “wellness” isn’t one-size-fits-all, beauty is about individuality, and everyone deserves the right to follow their own unique path to feeling confident and strong.

That’s why we’re excited to be part of Project Body Love – a campaign launched in conjunction with some of our sister magazine brands that hopes to change the way we think, feel and speak about our bodies. We want to celebrate selfexpression, champion diversity and make sure every one of you feels represented, seen and loved across our pages.

Many of us are at an all-time low when it comes to how we feel about our bodies and sense of selfworth, but on p30, our “How to rebuild your self-esteem” guide will give you the tools to find your inner cheerleader. Our Style section (p35) is packed with fashion to make you feel as great as you look – whatever your body shape. We’re unveiling our first ever Summer Beauty

Awards (p17), as our team reveal the products they really rate for getting that golden-hour glow. Plus, on p90, one writer opens up about how exercise healed her heartbreak and strengthened her mind, as well as her body.

The past year has affected us all very differently, so it’s no surprise that we’ve all coped differently, too. So whether you’ve worked out more or less, found joy in experimenting with make-up or embraced your natural beauty, embraced OTT fashion or lived in sweatpants, it’s all good. And whenever that inner bully pipes up, just imagine what you’d say if they were saying that about a friend. Because however much you love and adore others, you deserve to love and adore yourself the most.
