Cosmo contributing curve editor Lauren Nicole Coppin Campbell shares her sartorial secrets

Some people effortlessly find the fun in fashion. Model and influencer Lauren Nicole is one of them. Here, she talks A-list wardrobes, the accessories she swears by and style salads (they’re a thing).

Q Has your approach to fashion changed over time?

A I’ve grown in body confidence. When I was younger, it was about minimising and looking for clothes that were ‘flattering’, rather than being seen. Now I’m in my maximalist era. I’m very much about dopamine dressing and wearing pieces that bring me joy.

Q How would you describe your style?

A Someone on Instagram described theirs as a salad, which I really relate to. You take little bits of everything. Sometimes it’s bold or fun or revealing. I like to play all these different roles depending on my mood.

Q What part does jewellery play?

A Huge. It completes a look. I like to stack two or three rings together, and I usually wear just one classic necklace, but I’ll layer up or add diamanté when I’m going out. I feel naked without my Pandora bracelets – I wear the Signature I-D Bangle and the ME Treated Freshwater Cultured Pearl Bracelet in a mix of silver and gold.

Q If you could have anyone’s wardrobe, whose would it be?

A I’d start with Kylie Jenner’s because it’s sexy and fun but also quite high fashion. I’m also a big fan of the actor and producer Tracee Ellis Ross’s style – I’d go to her for classic, beautiful pieces – and I love Giorgia Tordini and Gilda Ambrosio, founders of The Attico. If their clothes came in my size, I’d be in heaven.

Q If you were to create a Pandora bracelet that epitomises you, which charms would you pick? A The Pandora ME Smile Mini Dangle, to remind me to keep smiling; the Pandora ME Fire Inside Medallion, to represent my Sagittarius spirit; and the Pandora Family Infinity Triple Dangle charm, as I’m all about family.
