BBC Countryfile Live
BBC Countryfile Live returns to Blenheim Palace for the third year running to celebrate everything there is to cherish about the British countryside.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of Countryfile, the programme, and in celebration of this momentous milestone there will be chance to visit an exhibition which goes behind the scenes of the show. Producers, camera crews and presenters alike will all take to the stage, giving the audience the lowdown on just what it takes to create the programme. From August 2-5, there will be live arena shows, hands-on activities, farmanimal demonstrations, debates, food, drink and shopping from over 500 independent retailers and lifestyle brands. On Saturday, August 4, an all new musical stage will be headlined by the UK’S biggest selling country act of all time The Shires, as well as acoustic guitar virtuoso Newton Faulkner and London-based country folk duo Ferris & Sylvester. Hosted by BBC Radio 2 legend Bob Harris, the Countryfile Live Summer Party is the perfect way to enjoy a summers evening in the grounds of Blenheim Palace, with an array of bars and a huge variety of tasty street food on offer. Over the four day event there will be more than 30 stages, venues and special areas to visit, ranging from Family Fishing in the River Glyme to the Equine Area, the Stihl World Timbersports Championships, Dog Arena, BBC Introducing Stage, Wildlife Zone, Countryfile Kitchen Stage and even a Mercedes Offroad Driving Experience.
