BBC Coun­try­file Live re­turns to Blen­heim Palace for the third year run­ning to cel­e­brate ev­ery­thing there is to cher­ish about the Bri­tish coun­try­side.

This year marks the 30th an­niver­sary of Coun­try­file, the pro­gramme, and in cel­e­bra­tion of this mo­men­tous mile­stone there will be chance to visit an ex­hi­bi­tion which goes be­hind the scenes of the show. Pro­duc­ers, cam­era crews and pre­sen­ters alike will all take to the stage, giv­ing the au­di­ence the low­down on just what it takes to cre­ate the pro­gramme. From Au­gust 2-5, there will be live arena shows, hands-on ac­tiv­i­ties, far­man­i­mal demon­stra­tions, de­bates, food, drink and shop­ping from over 500 in­de­pen­dent re­tail­ers and life­style brands. On Satur­day, Au­gust 4, an all new mu­si­cal stage will be head­lined by the UK’S big­gest sell­ing coun­try act of all time The Shires, as well as acous­tic gui­tar vir­tu­oso New­ton Faulkner and Lon­don-based coun­try folk duo Fer­ris & Sylvester. Hosted by BBC Ra­dio 2 leg­end Bob Har­ris, the Coun­try­file Live Sum­mer Party is the per­fect way to en­joy a sum­mers evening in the grounds of Blen­heim Palace, with an ar­ray of bars and a huge va­ri­ety of tasty street food on of­fer. Over the four day event there will be more than 30 stages, venues and spe­cial ar­eas to visit, rang­ing from Fam­ily Fish­ing in the River Glyme to the Equine Area, the Stihl World Tim­ber­sports Cham­pi­onships, Dog Arena, BBC In­tro­duc­ing Stage, Wildlife Zone, Coun­try­file Kitchen Stage and even a Mercedes Of­froad Driv­ing Ex­pe­ri­ence.
