Sustainable style points

The UK’S first fashion rental subscription has launched, with a monthly service offered to help counteract the fast fashion sector’s ‘throwaway nature’. The Devout (see right) offers designer and everyday clothing rental, with five items provided for a £79 monthly subscription. Recent times have also seen Thrift+, an online second-hand clothing store retailing brands like Gucci, Jimmy Choo and Burberry, say it can scale up its operations with a £950,000 impact investment (with the funding round led by the Triple Point Impact EIS fund).
