Hunters and shooters must work together
HUNTING has faced significant challenges in recent years, but there is one issue that is rarely spoken about, yet it gets worse each year. This threat to the very existence of some packs comes from a group very close to home—the shooting fraternity, many of whom don’t allow hunting across their land during the season. My plea to all shoots is to think before you say no to your local hunt as, if everyone does, we will start to see packs folding, not because of antis or legislation, but because the shooting and hunting communities aren’t working together.
