That’s the spirit

-

PARTRIDGES, The Queen’s grocer, celebrates its 45th anniversary this year with its first spirit, the Chelsea Flower Gin. Created by the family-run Royal Warrant holder in collaboration with Dunnet Bay Distillers in Caithness, it features 19 botanicals, including rose root and rosewater. The subtle floral note is a nod to the historic nurseries of Chelsea, where Partridges’ flagship store is located on Duke of York Square.

The first limited edition of Chelsea Flower Gin is now for sale, in Partridges’ two London stores (the other is on Gloucester Road) and online (www.partridges. co.uk)—£1 from each bottle in the first batch will be donated to local good causes. Each bottle is hand-filled and sealed with wax. Partridges was founded by retired Tory MP Sir Richard Shepherd in 1972.
