The arrival of autumn

Discover elegance, heritage, warmth and a little bit of edge in the just-launched autumn/winter collection from Neptune

-

Over the past 21 years, British interiors and lifestyle brand Neptune has steadily become known for its timeless, elegant aesthetic and use of beautifully natural materials. Twice a year, it launches a new collection to coincide with the shift of the seasons, revealing its latest creations for the whole home, from kitchens and living rooms to bedrooms and your great outdoors.

Although each collection has its own story, everything Neptune makes is designed to complement its existing pieces. It believes in growing and curating as opposed to removing and replacing, with everything working together, effortlessly. The just-launched autumn/winter collection is no exception.

The story

Neptune’s seasonal story is around being a collector. The company drew inspiration from the notion of archives and from our great British libraries and considered how to capture their inherent warmth and familiarity in the home. Think ceiling-to-floor displays of books, curl-up-on fabrics in soft velvet and cosy wool and pairings of its new colour blend, Teal, with brass accents.

The collection

The new collection sees existing design families extended, such as a new brushed-brass finish to its Brompton lighting, a decadent new size (called empress) for Neptune’s Olivia sofa as well as a corner concept for its Shoreditch seating.

Alongside these new favourites are never-before-seen pieces, such as the brass-and-glass Keswick tables (which come in coffee, side and console table forms); Neptune’s first-ever plaid wool textile; its Longton ceramics, which feature a gorgeously glossy glaze with a band of exposed, rustic stone; and, as touched on above, its seasonal shade—teal—which is referenced throughout its new fabrics and joins its edited paint palette.

You can see the new collection online, through Neptune’s seasonal Directory (which you can order online) or in any of its stores. In addition, the fifth volume of its lifestyle magazine, Stories, will be landing in the coming weeks. Sign up at neptune.com/stories to receive your free copy
