FULHAM TOWN HALL is to re-open to the public for the first time in a decade. The occasion? A free, multi-disciplinary art show that will inhabit every corner of the 51,000sq ft building—even the basement cells. The once grand municipal hall (www.fulham townhall.com) was built in 1890 and even hosted

The Clash, but has fallen into a state of disrepair, despite its Grade II* listing. It is slated for redevelopment in 2022, when it will become a boutique hotel.

‘Art in the Age of Now’ runs from May 20.

The inaugural London Gallery Weekend kicks off in early June and will feature a staggering 87 galleries, including the White Cube, Gagosian and

Hauser & Wirth. Described as a ‘democratic, peerled initiative’, the event will see London broken up into three neighbourhoods, with each one the focus of attention for a day—central on June 4, South on June 5 and the East End on June 6. The contributing galleries will lay on free-to-visit exhibitions and most plan to stay open late (www.londongalleryweekend.art).

THE high-end home-rental service Onefinestay is launching a fully flexible service for long-term London guests. Perks for bookings between 30 nights and six months include monthly savings, early break clauses and all-inclusive amenities (utilities; Wifi; weekly housekeeping; shower products; 24/7 local support). Certain homes will accept dogs. This two-bedroom, two-bathroom rental on Cockspur Street, SW1 (above), sits in the shadow of Nelson’s Column (you can see the Admiral through the sitting-room window) and was once a members’ club within a Norwegian embassy. Visit www.onefinestay.com for more information and to view available properties.
