Five star experiences

-

FORGET all about your token holiday yoga class and massage, because, this season, Five Star Greece is rolling out a series of ultra bespoke and private experiences. Designed in collaboration with a young company headed up by two young women, one American, one Greek—‘us dynamism and work ethic; Greek expertise and local knowledge,’ enthuses Five Star’s director Ileana von Hirsch—the experiences will be specific to the island on which clients in a Five Star villa are staying. On Tinos, one of the lesser-known Cycladic islands, learn how to sculpt in marble (right), under the tutelage of local sculptor Petros, who studied at the School of Fine Arts in Pyrgos Village, Santorini. Chisel away at your own masterpiece using techniques honed in antiquity, take a guided stroll through the village and Museum of Marble Crafts and see the day out with a sunset swim on one of Tinos’s beautiful beaches.

Further details of the experiences will be announced at the end of February. Visit www.fivestargreece.com for more information.
