We live to serve (pie)
IWAS interested to read Rachel Heath’s letter (January 19), as I often wonder what to do with back copies of your excellent magazine. When faced with transporting a hot fish pie on a half-hour drive to a housebound friend, the answer, of course, was COUNTRY LIFE! I used a dozen copies to line my travelling box: perfect insulation and the pie arrived oven-hot. We used the (warm) copies as table mats and my friend asked to keep the 12 magazines to help her while away the time. Sally Machin, Nottinghamshire
