Clean up the glasshouse

Things are beginning to move in the various glasshouses now and not all of them are welcome. A good spring clean will enable you to get ahead of the pests and diseases before they go forth and multiply. Go through each bench and put all the plants on the floor, then clean up the bench surface. As each plant is returned, remove dead leaves, clean the compost surface and wipe the pot. Then grovel about under the bench, removing debris and brushing as you go. Finish by sweeping the floor and sluicing with water. Return indoors and adjust your halo. SCD
