Follow in her footsteps
BLACK TOMATO has announced a new set of itineraries to celebrate the centenary of Agatha Christie’s historic round-the-world voyage. The trips, which have been designed in close collaboration with the author’s great grandson, James Prichard, include places that Christie visited, such as South Africa’s Cape Peninsula (left), where she first tried surfing, and Australia’s Dandenong Ranges, still accessed today via bush tram. Christie embarked on her 10-month voyage in January 1922, alongside her first husband, as part of a trade mission to promote the upcoming British Empire Exhibition.
