Invention, speed, the ability to connect quickly with the subject and, sometimes, sheer nerve are prime requisites for photographers of the COUNTRY LIFE interview, for which subjects have ranged from Sir David Attenborough to musicians, politicians, cricketers and the head of the Bank of England. John Miller stood his ground when photographing farmer and presenter Adam Henson being pushed around by his restive White Park bull, Idris, and worked at top speed to capture Sir David at Kew Gardens.
