APPLE TEALIGHTS

Lit candles create a wonderful glowing atmosphere. This simple twist gives a result that works well when placed on a mantelpiece or window ledge.

You will need Sharp knife Red apples Teaspoon Tealights Lemon juice

1 Use a sharp knife to cut a circle roughly the same size as a tealight out of the top of each apple.

2 Scoop out the apple with the teaspoon so the tealight fits perfectly inside. Squeeze lemon juice around the cut edges to stop any browning.

3 Push in the tealights, light and display on a level surface.
