WHAT I’VE LEARNT…

Country Living (UK) - - Kitchen Table Talent -

You never know what is around the corner. While every day is certainly brownie-focused, each one is varied and exciting and opens a different door – whether that be a new customer or jetting off overseas to tell the rest of the world about Gower Cottage Brownies.

It is worth investing in good equipment. I wish I’d bought a commercial oven sooner – it changed my life. For six years we used a little domestic oven. I had to spin the brownies around because the temperature was uneven.

Every job has its drawbacks: I’m never usually able to turn off – but I don’t want to because I love it.

The key is getting started. I like to tell other people to just do it! You have nothing to lose. Be confident in your product and service, ensure the quality is there, work hard and the rest will come.
