Perfect for hanging lightweight items in a bathroom or kitchen, this rustic hanging system can be created by re-purposing ornate cutlery
1 Using a clamp, secure a fork to the edge of a work bench, just below the fork’s head. 2 Wearing protective gloves, apply pressure using your hands to bend the handle into position. 3 Fold, bend or cut the
fork prongs if you wish. 4 Place in position on the back of a wooden door or on a separate plank of painted wood. Use a hammer and nail to make a hole in each piece before drilling in a screw to secure in place.
Flatten the heads of spoons with a hammer and add lettering to each one using metal alphabet stamps (available from ebay) to individual effect. These can also be employed for stylish plant markers stamped with herb or vegetable names.
