at the RHS Flower Show Tatton Park

-

et within magnificent deer parkland, RHS Flower Show Tatton Park offers an exciting mix of gardening inspiration, spectacular floral displays, artisan food from independent local producers and great live entertainment. It’s all about celebrations in 2018, as 20 years of the show is marked, along with the tenth anniversary of the RHS Young Designer Competition, which has featured some of the finest gardens and launched many incredible careers.

This year’s event has some fantastic new additions, including the Poisonous Garden, an immersive experience that explores the gruesome and deadly nature of some of our best-loved plants, while Field of Sunshine sees a stunning giant flower shape made up of thousands of sunny-yellow blooms. Bright-yellow rudbeckia will be mass planted to create a stunning visual spectacle and an amazing photo opportunity.

In the Flower School, you can plant your own terrarium, create a floral crown or be inspired by a variety of displays from floristry experts. Favourites such as the decorated Garden Hideaway sheds, mouthwatering demonstrations in the Feast Theatre and an extensive selection of fine wines to taste and buy in the Vineyard all make a welcome return.

There are lots of new attractions, too, such as the Green Fields Family Area, a mini festival-themed space, and the Botanical Design Shopping experience. Don’t forget that children aged 16 and under go free. Shoppers can browse an array of stalls, including those in the Country Living Pavilion, where British craftspeople will be selling pieces for the home and garden, beautiful jewellery and eye-catching gifts.
