The long-term impact of plastic waste on our environment is well documented – it is clogging our oceans and rural habitats, making it difficult for wildlife to survive. ‘Micro plastics’ – tiny particles from broken-down plastic waste – are being ingested by sealife and, as a result, being absorbed into the food chain.
