BEADLET ANEMONE These ruby-red creatures might look inconspicuous but, come high tide, their beauty is revealed in all its tentacled glory.

BRITTLE STAR Living up to its name, this sensitive starfish has five spindly arms, which it can shed if threatened. Up to 2,000 have been recorded in a single square metre.
