THE BIG FRIEZE

Create a unique wall-hanging from lining paper.

Draw around your specimens on card. Cut out and place on lining paper, moving them until you’re happy with the effect. Using a sponge, dab paint over the shapes (held in place with your finger). Peel back the card to reveal a clean silhouette. Repeat to cover the length of the paper. Allow to dry. With a clean sponge, add a final layer of paint (carefully to the background only), in a slightly darker tone, leaving an edge around each shape to show the first colour.
