YET TODAY, THESE FAT, FULL-FLAVOURED BERRIES ARE OFTEN OVERLOOKED. YOU MAY FIND THEM SWEET ENOUGH TO EAT RAW WHEN RED, WHILE TARTER GREEN VARIETIES ARE DELICIOUS IN SWEET AND SAVOURY DISHES. PUT THEM WITH PEARS AND A GLUG OF ELDERFLOWER CORDIAL FOR A CRUMBLE OR TURN THEM INTO A PUNCHY PICKLE TO SERVE WITH CHEESE.
