BEE SWARM SMART

To have a swarm removed, first find out what kind of bees they are. The British Beekeepers Association has ‘swarm collectors’ (find your nearest at bbka.org.uk) but they can only help if the swarm is made up of honeybees. The BBKA website has tips on how to identify them as well as pictures of what a swarm looks like from a distance if you don’t want to get too close!
