A WILD IDEA
Scotland is set to welcome a world first this year: the Dundreggan Rewilding Centre. Surrounded by a 10,000-acre estate in the Highlands, the Centre will include an exhibition space, café and accommodation for up to 40 visitors. The land is owned by the conservation charity Trees for Life, which has spent the past decade reforesting it. Now, golden eagles can be seen for the first time in 40 years and the black grouse is also staging a comeback. treesforlife.org.uk
