ROSEMARY LEMONADE JULEP

I love the combinatio­n of whisky and lemon. In winter, I make hot whisky lemonade to stave off the cold, but at this time of year it’s lovely in a cold glass of cloudy lemonade mixed with the heady flavour of rosemary.

Preparatio­n 5 minutes Makes 6 short drinks 6 SPRIGS ROSEMARY, PLUS EXTRA FOR GARNISH

1 SHOT WHISKY PER GLASS (OR ½ IF YOU’D LIKE IT LESS STRONG) 200ML CLOUDY LEMONADE

1 UNWAXED LEMON, SLICED

1 Muddle a sprig of rosemary in the bottom of each glass with the whisky. Add the lemonade with some ice.

2 Garnish with a slice of lemon and a small sprig of rosemary.
