Discover the WILDLIFE of the ISLES OF SCILLY

Explore the beautiful islands in autumn from a luxury hotel on St Martin’s, including a wildlife cruise and visit to Tresco Abbey Garden

-

The beautiful Isles of Scilly are only a short ferry ride off the coast of Cornwall, yet they still feel a million miles away. Just five of the islands are inhabited and even then by only 2,200 people, most of whom live on St Marys.

Thanks to their unique geography, there’s a wonderful array of flora and fauna to appreciate as well as over 20,000 seabirds, waders and migrants. You’ll visit in autumn, one of the best times to see migrating wildlife.

You will also hear a talk from Julian Branscombe of the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust about the work the trust does on the islands. Before a visit to the world-famous Tresco Abbey Garden, you’ll also enjoy a talk from the gardens’ curator, Mike Nelhams.

From your St Martin’s base, you’ll take private boat transfers to St Agnes, St Mary’s, Tresco and Bryher, enjoying excursions and guided walks.
