Show your STRIPES

Nothing says nautical like blue and white. Combine with blue florals and seagrass-style napkin rings for the prettiest place setting. To make your own version of this napkin ring, wind raffia or lengths of twisted seagrass rope around curtain rings, glueing in place with strong all-purpose glue. Add a sprig of herbs along with the napkin, and pop maritime-themed decorations on the plate – you could paint your guests’ names on the fish. You could also paint your own napkins, marking out in tailor’s chalk first and then hand-painting the stripes.
