Cart­mel Show, staged by the Cart­mel Agri­cul­tural So­ci­ety, fea­tures the very best of Bri­tish farm­ing, from cat­tle to sheep and poul­try to rab­bits. At­trac­tions in­clude: Shires to show ponies; Work­ing hunters to car­riage driv­ing; Show jump­ing and chil­dren’s mounted fancy dress com­pe­ti­tion; Dog show, al­ways a firm favourite with the dog agility team too; Vil­lage in­dus­tries: lots of craft­ing and coun­try crafts; Chil­dren’s en­ter­tain­ment: learn a cir­cus trick or two. Free area; Face paint­ing and bouncy cas­tles Birds of prey and creepy crawlies; Come and chat to our gar­den­ers in our hor­ti­cul­tural mar­quee; Your taste­buds will come alive in our food hall whilst lo­cal chefs pre­pare dishes in our food theatre; Ever seen Cum­ber­land & West­mor­land wrestling?
