Farm­ers take the least amount of leave com­pared to any other sec­tor, with half tak­ing fewer than five days hol­i­day last year, ac­cord­ing to a sur­vey of small busi­ness own­ers in the UK by Hi­tachi Cap­i­tal Busi­ness Fi­nance. The re­search shows that half of those (50%) in the agri­cul­tural sec­tor took fewer than five days’ hol­i­day last year, with just over a quar­ter (28%) say­ing that they took none at all.
