I've been filing CW walks away for years and always take a selection when we go on holiday. Recently we were in the Lakes, following a super circular walk from Elterwater over Lingmoor Fell and back along the Cumbria Way. We’d just got to the top of Lingmoor and at the stile encountered two very friendly young men – who turned out to be Nick Hallissey and Tom Bailey! I was delighted to show them that we were using a CW walk. Not long afterwards we had lunch overlooking the Langdales, enjoying this fantastic view. Thanks for the walks which are so convenient and well written. I know that if I follow a CW route, it has been well researched, is clearly described and easy to carry. Here’s to the next holiday, Shropshire in October – and I’ve got plenty of filed CW walks to choose from! Anne Green, Email. Ed says: Young men?
