WOES IN WOKING

Two issues ago we recommended the Water’s Edge café at Heather Farm near Woking ( Where Martians Walked and Walk 6, October 2018). Sadly we’ve been informed that the café changed hands following our visit and has since been closed until further notice. Alternative refreshments on Walk 6 can be found at the nearby Sands at Bleak House country inn ( www.sandsatbleakhouse.co.uk) or the several HG Wells-themed pubs and cafés in Woking. Apologies for any misdirection; we hope it will reopen before too long because it’s a lovely location...
