USE A LONG LENS
“Many photographers select a wide-angle as a matter of course when shooting landscapes. Not surprising really as this lens seems perfect for capturing the grand vista in front us. It also offers a greater depthof-field resulting in a sharper picture from foreground to background. However, using a longer lens will bring a different dimension to your images. It allows you to compress perspective, a great technique when shooting a series of hills or rows of trees. A long lens also enables you to isolate details and show a clear focal point in your image. So next time you’re outdoors try shooting some long lens pictures and bring some variety and interest to your landscape imagery.”
