Soaked in Switzerland

Just returned from Switzerland, where we hiked from Grindelwald to the top of Europe. First day it rained, but the next few days were great, with the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen. When we headed from Grindelwald in the rain, we walked through Alpine forests hearing the sound of cowbells before we could see them in heavy mist. Although soaked to the skin, we made it to the first cliff and got a soup in the café before heading on. Best experience of my life in the rain, and will return soon. Not finished with the Swiss Alps yet! Gail Reid
