CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF… October 2018

Hi, and thanks for the opportunity to share a picture I took in OCTOBER 2018 COUNTRY WALKING 57 September at Grasmere. Our walk took us round Grasmere and Rydal Water taking in Rydal Caves and returning via the Coffin Route. If I hadn’t looked back we would have missed this unusual phenomenon of a horizontal rainbow which fitted in with the excellent article in your October 2018 issue. Stan Siarkiewicz, Email
