‘To stop illness ruling my life’

“In 2018, overnight, I went from never stopping activity to not being able to move. Diagnosed with an autoimmune condition and underactive thyroid, to top it off I lost the ability to talk. Before then I’d never had a day’s illness in my life. Fast forward to November 2020 – I saw this challenge and decided to stop letting my illness rule my life. My hopes are that I’ll walk towards better health, find myself again, get my mojo and zest for life back. It's working already!”
